“AutumnRider Intro” August 2025.
This video was one of my first videos, shot during an Advanced Riders day out in Northumberland near Otterburn.
It’s a contemplation on Autumn, why it has always called me towards international travel, to new landscapes, new perspectives and internal change.
It also introduces a little about me as a person and what inspires me.

“Callaly” August 2025
No voiceover. No music other than the engine.
A fast Autumn rideout in Northumberland with my pill, Tineke. This rideout was on a colourful, winding backroad between Powburn and Ellingham.
Tineke wore my now famous Meta video sunglasses for this trip and filmed the action from the back seat of the bike. It gave an interesting perspective as we road around the beautiful scenery.
This day out got me thinking that I wanted to extend my riding season throughout the winter. That meant thinking out of the box and riding down to Spain to find some beautiful roads that I knew existed there.
It also started me thinking on the whole concept of AutumnRider. An older biker, an adventurer still wanting travel and challenge and freedom. To leave shadows behind and grab an opportunity to cross a continent with a bike, a bunch of cameras and nothing more than a vague destination. Of course it would need me to take a whole new bunch of skills to become a modern vlogger.

“Barcelona” November 2025
I loved this ride. It will go down as one of my favourites, ever.
Fast rides, racing other bikes, dodging traffic, bus lanes, a clown, and the atmosphere of it all. Such fun.
Only in Barcelona.
Of course I had to play second fiddle to Bluey, as he knew the score. I was just there for the action and the memories.
“Sitges Coast Road” Jan 2025
A three minute clip riding one of my favourite roads; the old coastal road from Sitges towards Castell de Fells in Spain. Just south of Barcelona.
It’s difficult to video this because of the road sidewall, so I attached a 3metre high pole to the front of the bike with the Insta360 camera on top of that.
It gave incredible views, similar to a drone and allowed me to peek over the wall to see the railway and coastline beneath me.

The Porstmouth to Santander Ferry Experience
October 2025
Two months of planning and prep allowed me to arrive a Portsmouth in late October before the colder weather closed in.
A thirty hour ferry ride took me from Portsmouth, UK to Santander in Northrn Spain, skipping a long route through France.
it was a relief to finally disembark into the 23 degree warmth of Santander and start the long journey across central Spain to the Mediterranean near Valencia.

July 2025 a long rideout into the Northumberland National Park.
The National Park in the Cheviot hills is a riders dream for stunning valleys, rivers, and vistas. The single track road runs from Powburn right up onto the majestic views of the whole of Northumberland.
This 15 minute video shot from the cockpit of the Honda Goldwing covers much of this autumn ride and ends with a little picnic on the summit overlooking the lowlands of Northumberland.
